About us

The Else Kröner Medical Scientist Research Group (EKF MSG) 2024 Lübeck is an interdisciplinary initiative hosted by the University of Lübeck. Our mission is to advance the understanding of “metaflammation,” exploring the complex interactions between metabolic dysfunction, chronic inflammation, and cancer biology. Through close collaboration between clinical practitioners and basic researchers, we aim to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and real-world patient care, developing innovative solutions to address pressing medical challenges.
