Our Molecular Life Science programme focusses on the fields of molecular cell and structural biology and their application in medicine and biomedical technologies.
This three-year programme leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree covers basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills in experimental natural sciences, with emphasis on chemical and biological aspects. While you have to work in chemical, biochemical and molecular biology labs you need the physical abilities. If you have any questions contact the program coordinator.
Our bachelor’s degree will open the doors to a career and to the option of a consecutive programme to acquire a Master of Science degree – preferably right here with us.

In the first two years, we start by concentrating on the basics in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics and informatics. Chemistry is deemed the crucial foundation, since it is the foundation for understanding structural biology.
In the final year, you will study the interrelated fields of structural analytics, tissue engineering, molecular biology and bioinformatics. The modular structure pursuant to ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) makes it possible to take advantage of our foreign partner universities, by taking electives from other programmes offered right here in Computational Life Science, Bioinformatics or Medical Informatics.
