The master's program integrates the health science institutes and departments of the University of Lübeck to create an interdisciplinary teaching program. The information science departments anchor the learning and research subject of digitally supported health care in the master's program.
In the master's program, you can choose from four specializations: Healthcare Research, Research in the Therapeutic Professions, Healthcare Development and Management, or Digital Healthcare.
In the 2nd and 3rd semesters, students learn and work in various (research) projects based at the University of Lübeck and can gain practical experience.
The Master's program offers a direct connection to the Bachelor's programs at the University of Lübeck in occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, nursing and midwifery. However, students from other universities and with bachelor's degrees in healthsciences also study in our master's program.
No tuition fees are charged at the University of Lübeck. The only fees are the semester contribution and a one-time registration fee.
Lübeck is located about 20 km from the Baltic Sea. Many beaches are easily accessible by public transportation. In the immediate vicinity, the Wakenitz and the Trave rivers, for example, offer beautiful natural areas for various leisure activities. Lübeck's old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a wide range of cultural activities.
