Programme Syllabus

The aim of the education is to prepare students for independent activities both in research, but especially in industry, by imparting knowledge and skills in both freely selectable and prescribed modules.

Study programme

Our study programme has a strong technical and scientific approach to AI research: mathematical AI basics and practical programming make up a large part of the curriculum. It consists of compulsory core courses, specialisation courses and a final thesis. The programme covers a wide range of topics, such as machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, computer vision, parallel computing, fairness and intelligent agents. In the courses on these topics, you will build a solid understanding of AI.

All courses are taught by world-renowned researchers who are experts in their field. Most lecturers are also involved in joint research with industry, so you'll benefit from an in-depth knowledge of AI applications in practice.
