The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) is the central self-governing body of German science. The DFG funds a large number of programmes at various levels.
Prof. Dr. med. Werner Solbach is the DFG Liaison Officer at the University of Lübeck. Together with the department of research management, Prof. Solbach regularly offers DFG information events for junior researchers and individual support for "DFG first-time students" (see Events).
