In cooperation with the Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA, from 24 –26 May 2019 in Lübeck
The Clinic of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck, and the Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA, invite interested parties to an international and interdisciplinary symposium on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and therapy of inflammatory systemic diseases from 24 –26 May 2019 in Lübeck.
New insight and research results from the complex area of multisystemic inflammatory diseases requires close interdisciplinary collaboration among specialists in the field of internal medicine – rheumatology, cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology – as well as intensive medicine, radiology, ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat medicine, and pathology.
The symposium offers an opportunity to engage in discussion with clinicians and scientists from all the above-mentioned disciplines about current research results and innovative treatments for complex conditions such as vasculitides, collagenosis, arthritides, interstitial lung diseases, PAH or glomerulonephritides. The invitation is open to students of medicine and the biosciences as well as anyone else working in the medical field or the natural sciences with an interest in multisystemic inflammable diseases.
Prof. Dr. Gabriela Riemekasten, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Specks, and Prof. Dr. Peter Lamprecht are organising the symposium.
