Public guest lecture with Mariëtte Abrahams

The fourth industrial revolution has arrived. In this era of rapid digital transformation and personalisation, the fields of nutrition and healthcare are no exception.

We are honoured to welcome Mariëtte Abrahams on December 4th, 2023, 4pm – 6pm, at the Hanse Innovation Campus Lübeck for a public guest lecture in which she will explore how digital technology is revolutionizing the field of nutrition, how it is driving the shift towards disease prevention, and how it will shape the future of food.

Mariëtte Abrahams PhD MBA RD is the CEO and Founder of Qina, a platform and specialized consultancy that bridges the gap between science and solutions by helping companies to connect and innovate in Personalised nutrition. She has worked in the clinical and medical nutrition industry for over 20 years and leverages her combined expertise in nutrition, business and research to create a healthier future for all at the intersection of nutrition, technology, health and society.

This talk will delve into the potential of digital tools to drive sustainable behaviour change, by looking at the current state of the science. It will also cover the current competencies students need to have, to thrive in a data-driven world.
